A cleaner hull without the haul-out.
Marine growth increases drag, reduces boat speed, can increase fuel use, and makes propulsion equipment work harder. ScrubMarine provides professional underwater boat hull cleaning across Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and select Gulf Islands so routine maintenance can be completed while the vessel remains in the water.
Every job is scoped around the vessel, coating, level of fouling, marina access, and operating needs. Our divers select the least aggressive practical tools for the growth present, helping preserve antifouling coatings while clearing the surfaces that affect performance.
Vessels up to 75 ft
Hull cleaning is estimated at $16.25 CAD per foot.
Vessels over 75 ft
Large-vessel hull cleaning is estimated at $18.25 CAD per foot.

At your berth
Routine cleaning without scheduling a dry-dock or travel lift.
What the hull-cleaning service covers.
A standard scope may include the hull, keel, waterline, rudder, propeller, shafts, struts, and accessible running gear. Intakes, outlets, and zinc anodes can be visually inspected as the diver works. Client-supplied zincs can be installed for $25 CAD each when the configuration is serviceable underwater.

Hull care matched to your coating.
Different hulls and antifouling systems require different cleaning methods. Soft growth may need only gentle wiping, while established weeds or hard growth require a more involved approach. The final method depends on the coating condition and fouling visible during the visual inspection. If cleaning could create an environmental or coating concern, the scope may be adjusted or declined.
Frequently asked questions.
Can you clean my hull without hauling the boat?
Yes. Routine hull cleaning is completed in the water at the berth or another approved service location.
What is included in the quoted rate?
The rate provides a starting point for standard hull cleaning. Heavy growth, difficult access, travel, commercial scope, and specialty work may change the confirmed quote.
Will I receive underwater photos?
Yes, when visibility and site conditions permit. The normal documentation includes before-and-after images and service observations.
