Some in-water tasks may be practical for a diver, such as clearing accessible rope or debris, repositioning a serviceable line, replacing compatible client-supplied hardware, or assisting with a straightforward submerged component. The exact repair, materials, access, and risks must be reviewed before acceptance.
Structural work, underwater welding, contaminated-water diving, energized equipment, confined spaces, complex rigging, or work requiring certified commercial procedures is outside a routine custom scuba request and may need a specialized contractor.
Small-scale underwater salvage and recovery.
Recovery requests may include anchors, tools, fishing equipment, cameras, keys, jewellery, phones, and other known objects. Larger vessels, vehicles, hazardous materials, unstable structures, evidence, or complex lifting operations require specialist planning and are not accepted as routine item-recovery work.
